To become a member, please send a short application outlining your academic profile in general and your research interest in Chinese art in particular. Please also attach a short CV (max. 1.000 words) and send the application to the editorial team (Cila Brosius, Franziska Koch, Nora Wölfing, Xuan Ma). We will confirm membership based on a swift colleagual assessment and respond as soon as possible. The editorial team can also decide by majority to end a member’s membership in case of conflict. Members can end their membership at any time with an informal declaration to the editorial team (mococa@web.de) in turn.
Membership is free of charge and informal. This might change if the network will take on a specific legal form in the future, in which case all members would be notified in advance.
Members are expected to contribute to the network’s activities as well as publications and help to shape its academic profile and public outreach. They are welcome to use the network’s name after consultation with the adminstrative committee (= editorial team of the blog), when applying for funding in connection with academic activities that address the networks research profile and that include/invite other network members. Members are expected to support the networks planned regular bi-/triannual symposia and encouraged to suggest panels and other activities in the name of the network at existent international conferences and other research gatherings.
