Institutional affiliations
The network is informally related to a broad range of academic institutions and (online) academic platforms around the world through the institutional affiliation of its members. These vary in accordance with the stage of the scholarly career of each member – from graduate student to chair of department or director of a museum/collection. Consequently, the heterogeneous list below dominantly consists of institutions with a major focus on Chinese art and visual culture, but it also includes institutions that enable individuals to do research in the field without being focused on China and art. The instrumental role these institutions play as resource for academic activities, research, and publications related with modern and contemporary Chinese art can be explored using the following links. Members of the network will take turns in organizing the bi-/triennial network conferences and other academic activities at these institutions.
