Ruo Jia (City College of New York, The Bernard and Anne Spitzer School of Architecture) has put together a panel on “Asian Feminist Architecture” as part of the up-coming Annual Conference of the American College Art Association that will take place on February 17, 2023 from 17:00-18:30 (New York Hilton Midtown – 2nd Floor – Madison Suite). With Tani Barlow (Rice University) as a distinguished senior discussant in the field of feminist studies, three presentations by Nicolas Risteen, CoCo Tin, and Ruo Jia will discuss the topic in the context of contemporary architectural practices crossing East Asia and address questions of care, power, and gender conflicts.
